Handling complaints

Naturally, I hope you are satisfied with your treatment at Diyala Psychology Care. If that is not the case, I would like to hear about it.

How can you file a complaint?

If you are not satisfied, I would like to hear about it by email at info@diyalacare.nl. I am happy to look with you at whether we can reach a solution together. If we cannot work it out together, or if you do not wish to discuss your complaint directly with me, there are three other routes you can take:

    You file an official complaint and start a complaints procedure. Diyala Psychology Care is affiliated with the complaints scheme of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists (NIP). During the handling of your complaint you can make free use of the assistance of an independent complaints officer, who can help you, among other things, in drawing up and submitting your complaint.

    You file a disciplinary complaint with the NIP Supervisory Board.

  3. 3

    You submit your complaint to the Disputes Committee for Psychological and Educational Care. You may first have to complete the complaints procedure before you can appeal to the Disputes Committee.
