Personal data we process

Diyala Psychology Care processes the personal data you provide to us yourself. In addition, certain data is processed automatically when you use our website. This includes, among other things:

• Your first and last name, gender and date of birth
• Your address details, telephone number and email address
• Other personal data you actively provide, for example in correspondence and during your treatment
• Your location data (country and city), internet browser and device type, and your IP address

In addition, we process the following special and/or sensitive personal data: information regarding your health and your citizen service number (BSN).

Purpose of processing

Diyala Psychology Care processes your personal data for the purpose of:

• Carrying out the medical treatment agreement;
• Complying with legal obligations;
• Being able to call or email you if necessary for our services;
• Processing your payment.

Studio Youss – bookings and payments

Studio Youss is the creative offering of Diyala Psychology Care, where you can book a spot for a creative session via the website. When you make a booking, we process the data you enter yourself in order to handle your reservation. This concerns:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address and telephone number
• The number of people and the chosen date and time slot
• Any comments you add yourself

We use this data solely to process and confirm your booking, to communicate with you about your reservation, and to handle the payment. Your data is stored in a secure database. When booking, we explicitly ask you to agree to the terms and conditions and this privacy policy.

Payment is processed via our payment service provider Mollie. To handle your payment, we share the necessary data with Mollie. Diyala Psychology Care does not store any payment or bank details itself. For the confirmation and information emails we use the email service Resend.

We do not keep booking data longer than necessary for carrying out the booking and our administration. Financial-administrative data relating to payments is kept for up to 7 years, in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation.

Data retention period

We do not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary. For medical files a statutory retention period of in principle 20 years applies, counting from the last change to the file. Financial-administrative data is kept for up to 7 years after being recorded.

The information from the intake form is deleted within 14 days after the phone call if treatment turns out not to be suitable or the call does not take place. If treatment is suitable, this data is kept for 4 weeks; if you do not schedule a follow-up appointment within this period, it is destroyed. For data processed automatically during website visits we apply a retention period of a maximum of 4 weeks.

Sharing with third parties

Diyala Psychology Care provides your personal data to third parties only:

• If this is necessary for carrying out our agreement with you;
• To comply with a legal obligation;
• When you have requested this and have given explicit written consent.

Cookies

Diyala Psychology Care uses only technical and functional cookies, and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. These cookies are necessary for the technical operation of the website and remember, for example, your preference settings. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies.

Accessing, amending or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct and/or delete your personal data, provided and insofar as this is compatible with the legal obligation to keep a medical file. You also have the right to data portability. You can send a request to info@diyalacare.nl. We respond within four weeks.

Security

Diyala Psychology Care takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and unauthorised alteration. Do you have the impression that your data is not properly secured? Then contact us at info@diyalacare.nl. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
